Oleg and Simone started their musical colaboration in 2008 during International project with The Ethel String Quartet (NY), part of Festival Mundial and Podium Paradox in Tilburg (NL). Since 2010, the duo has been playing their own music all over the world.

Together, the Moldavian bayan player Oleg Fateev and the Brazilian percussionist Simone Sou bring their audience to the roots of Balkan and Brazilian music. They do this by a fascinating and exciting combination of rhythm and melody. The creative percussionist Simone Sou moves freely among world rhythms. By playing beautiful melodies and exiting arrangements, Oleg Fateev and Simone Sou creates bridges between jazz, classical and Eastern European music.
